Yaswanth Chittepu

I am a first year Doctoral Student in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. I am currently being advised by Prof. Scott Niekum at the SCALAR Lab. My Research Interests lie at the intersection of Reinforcement Learning, Robotics, and Probabistic Graphical Models; with the primary goal of ensuring safe and efficient deployment of Robots or Reinforcement Learning algorithms in general, to real world environments. I am also interested in related fields, such as Uncertainity Quantification, Bandits, Imitation Learning, Variational Inference, and Statistical Machine Learning.
